Unlike the EXP adjustment springs (silver, red, blue, gold) which tune the EXP disk
engagement curve, the purple spring sets theoverall clamping pressureapplied to the clutch pack. It provides amedium preload, allowing smoother,
more progressive engagement while reducing excessive slip. Its purpose is to stabilize
pressure-plate behavior and ensure consistent power transfer.
