POLINI CYLINDER KIT FOR APRILIA SXR 50 4T ie Euro 5 2021-> (CD32M)

The new Polini cylinder kit for the Aprilia SXR 50 improves acceleration and top speed, providing a more efficient and dynamic riding experience.

The cylinder body is made of aluminum, and the Ø49 mm barrel is made of cast iron. This combination allows for proper heat dissipation and efficient performance.

The aluminum keeps operating temperatures low, while the cast iron provides engine stability and durability.

For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to install these components simultaneously:

- ECM control unit with valve springs 171.0022

- HI-SPEED variator with reinforced compression spring 241.737

For any type of tuning, replacing the control unit is essential.

The Polini ECM with valve springs has been designed and tuned by the Polini racing department after numerous tests and trials.

It allows you to choose from 3 different mappings, offering the possibility of further customizing your scooter.

The addition of valve springs to the package allows the limiter to reach up to 10,000 rpm, resulting in a tangible increase in speed and performance, ensuring a more dynamic and smoother ride.

Depending on the scooter's assembly steps, it is important that it matches the specific mapping developed by Polini:

Map 1: 214.737 + 171.0022 (Without valve springs)

This is the simplest assembly step, as it only requires removing the original control unit and attaching the Polini ECM, as it is plug & play and can be installed immediately.

The replacement allows for an increase in the rev limiter, increasing the engine speed from 7,500 to 8,600. With this mapping, it is advisable to combine the Polini variator (241.737),

while maintaining the original Piaggio engine. Thanks to Map 1, the speedometer increases from 45 km/h to 53 km/h.

Map 2: 214.737 + 171.0022 (With valve springs)

With the 2^nd mapping, you fully immerse yourself in customization and take your vehicle to the next level. It is essential to have a professional as you are working directly on the engine.

It is important to know that it is necessary to replace the engine's original valve springs with the Polini ones already included in the ECM package, which allow the engine limiter to be raised to 10,000 rpm without causing problems to the valves.

With this mapping, it is advisable to combine it with the Polini variator (241.737), which can also be installed on the original engine. This map increases the speed from 45 km/h to 55 km/h.

Map 3: 140.0237 + 214.737 + 171.0022 (With valve springs)

The third map achieves maximum performance. The basis for this step is this Ø49 mm cylinder kit that increases the engine to approximately 80cc (140.0237). With this mapping, it is advisable to combine it with the Polini variator (241.737) + ECM control unit with valve springs (171.0022).

This map allows the speed to be increased from 45 km/h to over 70 km/h.
